Gorinchem has been declared the most beautiful fortified city of the Netherlands. The hotel is located in a lively shopping street in Gorinchem within the historic city center which is surrounded by an old fortress wall from the early 17th century. The New Dutch Waterline in Gorinchem is part of the UNESCO world heritage. Gorinchem has an authentic and special character due to the many preserved elements from previous centuries.
The old city center is compact and easy to walk from the Gold and Silver hotel and offers many activities. For example, you can follow a cultural route past galleries, antique stores and studios.
