Gorinchem has been declared the most beautiful fortified town of the Netherlands. The hotel is situated in a lively shopping street in Gorinchem within the historical city centre, which is surrounded by an old fortress wall dating from the beginning of the 17th century. The Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie in Gorinchem is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Gorinchem has an authentic and special character due to the many preserved elements from the previous centuries.
The old city center is compact and easy to walk from the Gold and Silver hotel and offers many activities. For example, you can follow a cultural route past galleries, antique stores and studios. You can also take a walk on the city walls, visit a museum and store. In town you can enjoy the terraces and eat out in one of the nearby restaurants.
